Molly Sellars's Graduate collection 'Pick Of The Tents' is a collection using festival waste materials, including sleeping bags and tents to suggest new propositions in functional garments. Every element of the waste is used, following a belief in a need for honesty about repurposed materials. Key pieces are metamorphic; a tent fabric jacket becomes a hammock, sleeping bag trousers become a quilt creating a sleeping solution made secure by zippers and press studs. The collection explores taking materials others disregard, to create exciting functional solutions via craft and innovation.
